A non-refundable deposit will be collected upon execution of this agreement via the payment method selected to secure your services. Payment of such deposit is confirmation you understand, accept, an agree to these terms and conditions.
This deposit is collected at the time of booking to reserve the services purchased and to guarantee the finalization of the agreement. The amount of the deposit is based on the type of move:
For a move originating and terminating in the same US State or within a Commercial Zone, where a Commercial Zone is defined by 49 CFR Part 372, the amount is $150
For all other move types, the amount is 10% of the Total Services Amount, excluding Valuation Service
The deposit amount collected will be deducted from the total cost of services.
Cancellation or Changes
If a customer cancels the shipment or move after the deposit is collected, then Global Van Lines will retain the deposit
If a customer requests or requires a change to the originally agreed upon Estimate resulting, such as but not limited to a change in the date for the services, additional services, or fewer services, it will be considered a cancellation and Global Van Lines will retain the deposit and the deposit will not be applied to any subsequent Estimate.
In the event of requested or required change from the originally agreed upon Estimate, a new Estimate will be created accordingly and Global Van Lines will collect a new non-refundable deposit for the new Estimate
